What’s wrong with this ad?
I just saw this ad on LinkedIn… notice anything odd about it?
Yes, thats a MacBook… though they fixed it with the magic of Photoshop by changing up the hinge a little.
I’ve always thought it was funny that Macs were so commonly used in advertising over the last 20 years. But you’d think Microsoft could get one of their buddy’s laptops to use… like HP or Dell or something… but I guess they might get called for picking favorites. Apparently, it’s not the first time… they used one with some strategically placed stickers in their Songsmith ad.
That said… according to Gizmodo and ZDNet, the MacBook was the fastest laptop running Vista (back in 2007… Though, I can’t find any more recent benchmarks) maybe 7 is better on a Mac.
I cant say much, it’s installed on my MacBook in Parallels… so I guess it’s not that odd.
